A client’s referral led us to re-roof a stunning mountain home.

Excellence at 8,000 feet? That’s what we strive for. We’re back from finishing up a re-roofing project in Aspen, Colorado. The opportunity to work on this project came from a referral from a satisfied client. Their kind review led us to a this beautiful mountain home with a cedar shake roof. While this wooden roof fit perfectly in its environment, it had deteriorated and was in need of replacement.

We gave the roof a new lease on life with DaVinci Roofscapes Multi-Width Shake, a durable and attractive synthetic alternative to traditional wood shake. It provides the same aesthetic appeal, durability and insulating properties as wood. However, it offers a high level of fire resistance. While beautiful and organic, cedar wood shake can be ignited by a single spark. In areas prone to wildfires, synthetic shake is an excellent alternative.

In addition to installing the new roof, we took extra precautions to ensure its longevity and functionality in the Rocky Mountain climate. Snow guards and fences were added to break up snow and ice as it melts, while heat tape was installed to prevent dangerous pileups of snow. We also crafted our own copper flashing to ensure a seamless and high-quality finish.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Beacon Building Products for their prompt delivery of all the necessary materials for this project. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to complete the job, even with the added challenge of adjusting to the high altitude of Aspen.
